ITEM OF INTEREST

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, February 8, 1941]

From the April 1941 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is always gratifying to know of efforts to bring about a closer cooperation and unity among Christian Scientists in a local field. First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist, Yonkers, New York, feeling that the growth of our Cause in that field would best be promoted by their consolidation, have taken the orderly and necessary steps to that end and have united in one church body. The newly formed organization is known as First Church of Christ, Scientist, Yonkers, New York.
