ALONE WITH GOD

From the October 1943 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Alone with God, all human sense transcending,
In consciousness of goodness never ending
We stand, and know the Love that now enfolds us
Will in its strong embrace forever hold us,
For Love is strong.

Alone with God, Love's purpose sweet revealing,
We feel the Christly touch and know the healing
That comes to him who trusts Love's tender guiding,
And finds sweet comfort in such Love confiding,
For Love is sweet.

Alone with God, the fullness of His treasure
Is spread before His children without measure.
Alone with Love, we find the all of living
In Life that finds the all of Love in giving,
For Love is All.
