In deep gratitude I wish to give this testimony. When Christian Science was presented to me, seventeen years ago, I was passing through deep waters. A small daughter of six years passed on, my husband was not working, and for four years I had been suffering from a nervous breakdown. During that time I was afraid of everyone and everything. Then I learned of Christian Science. I began to study it, and from that day to this I have gone steadily forward.
As a family we have had many healings. My children attended the Sunday school. One daughter was healed almost instantaneously of a severe burn caused by kneeling on a red-hot poker, only the faintest scar remaining. Healings of jaundice, colds, and an abscess in the throat have resulted from the application of this Science. All our needs are being met daily.
I am most grateful to the practitioner who guided my early footsteps, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the privilege of class instruction.
