It is with gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, that I offer this testimony. I can truthfully say I have had hundreds of healings, many of them instantaneous, through the application of Christian Science.
One day I had to be put to bed with a very bad hemorrhage, and a local doctor was called in. He attended me for six weeks and then told me I would not get better unless I consulted a specialist and had an operation. Then I had the courage to tell him not to come any more, for I was going to have Christian Science help, and God would heal me. He entreated me not to be foolish, because, he said, I was not in a condition to waste any time, and he had not known anyone to live six weeks with such a bad hemorrhage. He told me he hoped I would change my mind and decide to have the operation.
Immediately after the doctor left, my husband rang up a Christian Science practitioner, and in twelve hours I was healed. I stayed in bed one more day and got up free. This healing gave me a new sense of at-one-ment with God.
