I humbly submit this testimony in gratitude to God for the many proofs I have had of the healing efficacy of Christian Science and for the solution of innumerable problems of all kinds through the application of the truth revealed in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
It was my privilege, when a young teacher, to live in the home of an earnest student of Christian Science for three years. She was the mother of a large family, but through her consecrated work only harmony, health, serenity, and wonderful peace were manifested in her home. Constructive, health -giving truths were voiced, and careless, erroneous talk about sin, disease, or discord was discouraged. All within the household were benefited thereby.
Our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, writes on page 146 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany": "Christian Scientists hold as a vital point that the beliefs of mortals tip the scale of being, morally and physically, either in the right or in the wrong direction. Therefore a Christian Scientist never mentally or audibly takes the side of sin, disease, or death."
