Seventeen years ago, on New Year's Eve, I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science, thereby taking the most important step in my life. That very night I received an instantaneous healing of constipation and hemorrhoids of years' standing, while reading a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel. I was so rejoiced at this healing touch of Truth that I began an earnest study of Christian Science, and my life has been transformed. I realize the truth of what Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 246): "Each succeeding year unfolds wisdom, beauty, and holiness."
I have had many blessings, including healings of tonsillitis, heavy colds, chills, eczema, influenza, a painful condition of the feet, and the need of wearing glasses; and, not least, I have been spared many bitter experiences through keeping silent and listening for spiritual guidance.
For years I lived in the home of others. Now Love has provided me a home of my own, and my every need is being supplied.
