The Normal class in the Board of Education was held early in December, 1943. In accordance with the provision of the Manual of The Mother Church, a Normal class convenes on the first Wednesday of December every third year.
The teacher of the 1943 class was Dr. John M. Tutt, C. S. B., of Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Tutt has served The Mother Church for many years as a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, and also has had long experience as a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science.
The pupils in the class came from many states in the United States, and one from abroad, as follows: England, California, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
