It is indeed a joy to testify to the beneficent results experienced through the study and application of Christian Science. Various kinds of discord which I have experienced have been overcome with remarkable success.
One healing which seems to me outstanding was that of crushed fingers. A car door was closed on my hand, flattening the second and third fingers. The broken bone in one finger nearly pierced the skin. A Christian Science practitioner was called immediately for help, which was lovingly given.
The hand was somewhat swollen, but only for a brief time. It was not even wrapped up; no material remedy was used, and within a half-hour I reached my place of employment and was able to perform my duties. I suffered no inconvenience or pain except the first few minutes before work was begun in Christian Science. This healing, which was almost instantaneous, is proof that Christian Science heals when understandingly applied.
