Christian Science has been the only physician in our home for more than twenty-five years, and many and varied have been the problems solved through its beneficent influence.
Within the first year after turning to Science I was healed of the need of wearing glasses, of headaches, constipation, and nervousness accompanied by an almost overwhelming fear—fear of the future, of being alone, of meeting people, and of the darkness. Unless one has experienced this bondage, one can never know just what it means to be freed from it.
A few years later I was healed of a form of sciatica which had troubled me periodically since I was a young girl. I had been awake all one night with pain, which persisted till noon the next day. After a few hours' relief it returned and, fearing another sleepless night, I got in touch with a practitioner and asked for help. Within twenty minutes all pain left, and the condition has never returned.
