In 1906 my wife and I became interested in Christian Science, through the kindness of my employer's wife at the time of our marriage, and we began attending Christian Science services immediately thereafter. During the years which followed, our four children grew to manhood and womanhood without our having called upon the services of medical doctors, except at childbirth as required by state law.
I have had many occasions to turn to Truth as revealed in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and through testing experiences have relied entirely upon Truth. Always each problem has been solved, sometimes through my own application of Christian Science, and at other times with the aid of a practitioner.
At one time a nervous breakdown kept me from my work for some nine months. With the loving help of a practitioner I was able, in the spring, to resume my former position, thoroughly healed. On another occasion a bruise on the shin bone developed into a case of blood poisoning which was healed in one week by treatment from a practitioner three thousand miles away.
