Christian Science came into our home through our mother when I was about five years old. From that time on, as far as I know, we never depended on anything else, and I have never known Science to fail.
It has healed me of a severe case of measles, of chronic earaches, chronic tonsillitis, acute indigestion, pneumonia, influenza, colds, warts that covered both hands, a sudden attack of kidney trouble, and a nervous breakdown with accompanying heart trouble. This last-mentioned healing covered a period of several years, and caused me to study very hard to gain a clearer understanding of God's care and love for His child.
The kidney attack was healed very quickly through the help of a friend while I paced the floor in pain. At the end of fifteen minutes I was entirely healed. The healing brought a very clear sense of the nearness of God's love and a feeling of great peace. The earaches ceased in the same manner. A Christian Science practitioner was called to the house when I was suffering acutely, and I dropped off to sleep as she treated me. I awakened with a feeling of great love for everybody, and the pain was all gone. I never remember having another earache.
