For the concept of God and of man's...

From the April 1947 issue of The Christian Science Journal

For the concept of God and of man's relationship to Him gained through the study and application of Christian Science, I am deeply grateful. For many years I have turned to Science for the solution of all problems, and it has never failed. The wholesome activity, normal health, and harmonious relationships that I enjoy I attribute to its application.

I have also experienced numerous physical healings, including those of influenza and a tendency to colds and sore throat. All that is ever needed to correct any adverse situation is the right idea, the truth about it. Not long ago an irritating rash on one of my hands was overcome when I made an earnest effort to replace irritability and impatience with the right ideas of patience, tolerance, and a greater trust in God.

For all the activities of the Christian Science movement—the literature, the lectures, the Reading Rooms, and all the avenues which have been provided for our growth in spiritual understanding — and for having had the privilege of attending the Sunday School for seven years, I am deeply and sincerely grateful. —
