"HE PUT THEM ALL OUT"

From the April 1947 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Again, the words were heard like an old song
Remembered through the years, yet strangely new,
"He put them all out of the room," the throng
That wept, and laughed to scorn the Master, who
Ever proved faithful to his Godlike view.
He put them all out—no error could stay
Where Life was supreme. Then may not I too
Empty my thought of all discord and pray
The same Christ, Truth, be with my child today?

Jairus sought the God-anointed one
When error held him with its fearful lie.
So, help me realize God's work is done,
And all false accusation thus defy.
Death's picture fades, hope is revived, and I
In gratitude cast out my sorrow. Can
This Truth then set us free—senses deny?
Yes! The child lives—her wholeness a loved plan
That is forever destined for God's man!
