For those who seek the meaning of life, and the fundamental truths of being. Christian Science is indeed the way. Christ Jesus perfectly understood and demonstrated this Science of being, and Mary Baker Eddy, through divine revelation, has elucidated Jesus' words and works in this age, thereby showing once more to the world the way of salvation from all discord. She has spiritually interpreted the Scriptures. For these great blessings I am very grateful.
Before hearing of Christian Science, about seven years ago, I had for a number of years been interested in psychology and a cult known as "nature cure." The former I believed would improve my mind and personality, eliminating various fears and an inferiority complex; the latter I thought would better my body, and specifically heal me of nasal catarrh from which I had suffered intermittently ever since my childhood.
Then came the happy day when a stranger told me of Christian Science. I attended my first Wednesday evening testimony meeting, and then commenced to study at a Reading Room. I shall always be grateful that through our Leader's provision of the Reading Rooms I was able to study during those first days when I possessed no Christian Science books and knew no Scientists.
