"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God" (II Cor. 1:3, 4). It is with a sincere desire to comfort others as I have been comforted and to bring my "tithes into the storehouse" (Mai. 3:10) that I joyously share this testimony.
I shall never cease to be thankful that my parents were led to take up the study of Christian Science when I was a small child and that they enrolled me in the Christian Science Sunday School, where the wise counsel and loving direction of faithful teachers strengthened my early footsteps. Later, when I entered the business world, the truths learned in those earlier years proved to be a shining light on my path.
This beautiful Science of Life, when rightly applied, has blessed my experience in many ways, but above all, I am grateful for an increasing understanding of the eternality of Life. The fact that God is Life and God is All excludes the belief of a life or power apart from Him.
