I awoke early this morning
And in my heart
I heard His voice say:
"I am the loving God.
Kingdoms of the earth
Come and go.
They are ruled
By many minds,
Changeable,
Passing,
Unaware of Me,
The one King.
I am the loving God.
Restful is My throne,
Like a field
In the sun
Where flowers grow.
I am strong,
A King
In the heart of you,
Your one love."
I awoke early this morning
And in my heart
There is a King's throne.
