My thoughts go out in loving appreciation to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her gift to the world of Science and Health.
It is my desire to express gratitude for the healing I received through the application of Christian Science. A few years ago I was told by a physician that I should undergo an operation immediately for internal trouble. At that time I did not know of Christian Science, but neither did I believe in operations. In this state of confusion I mentioned the condition to a friend, who asked me why I did not try Christian Science. I called a practitioner and was healed after a few treatments.
Following this wonderful healing I decided to consider Christian Science my religion and to depend upon its teachings to free me from all errors. I realized that its mission is not only to heal the sick but to destroy sin and death. In the Bible we read (Ps. 103:2, 3), "Bless the Lord, . . . who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." God is the only healer, and man reflects God's healing power.
