I Had never heard the words "Christian Science" until I married a student of this wonderful religion; then I began to learn a new way of life. I had been taught that God saw everything one did, but the fact that He is Love was never mentioned. One day while reading the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I suddenly saw that He is a God of love, and I instantly lost all sense of hatred of one I had never expected to love. Words can never express my heartfelt gratitude for that spiritual revelation. I began to find peace, which is one of the blessings that Christian Science brings to us.
Science has always met our every need, whatever it has been. I have seen many wonderful healings take place through the application of our understanding of God or through the help of consecrated practitioners. I have been healed of the need of wearing glasses and of kidney trouble. My husband was wonderfully protected during a year and a half of overseas' duty during the war.
Words can never express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for establishing so completely the Christian Science movement and especially the Sunday School. We entered our little girl in Sunday School before she was two years old, and she is always eager to go every Sunday morning. I am very grateful for the periodicals, for the practitioners, and for every avenue through which the truth of God and man is reaching the world today.
