The privilege of being raised in a home where Christian Science was lived and loved was indeed a great one. Each day I am awakening to a higher sense of gratitude for this and for the years I had in the Christian Science Sunday School. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; for all the activities which our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, provided in this great movement; and for the opportunity of serving in church activities.
Freedom from a false sense of responsibility about the children in our home is indeed cause for happiness. It has meant greater freedom for all concerned. Each time I think of them during the day, I know that as God's ideas they are God-inspired and God-governed.
The power of Truth has been demonstrated countless times in my own experience and in the lives of dear ones. Some of the healings have been of influenza, colds, cuts, sore throat, burns, and boils. Inharmonious school conditions have been corrected, lost articles have been quickly found, and freedom from fear of various kinds has been gained. Eyeglasses have been laid aside; dizziness overcome in a short time; and hair restored after large bald spots appeared on one child's head.
