Testimonies of Healing

I shouldlike to express my gratitude for...

From the April 1951 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which truly meets our daily needs. Some time ago my husband was told at his place of business that because of a large decrease in sales it would be necessary to let him go. The picture seemed very dark indeed. There were many people in line at each employment agency where he applied, and the business offices informed him that they had stopped employing new people.

However, we had asked help from a Christian Science practitioner, and for the spiritual help we received at that time I am truly thankful. We were reassured that man is always in his right place, and the lines from Hymn No. 224 in the Christian Science Hymnal were indeed an inspiration,

While Christ is rich, can I be poor?
What can I want beside?
