In 1933 I had a testimony in the Christian Science Sentinel telling of the many healings we had experienced in our home. Since then the healing truth has continued to bless us in every way.
We have had many trials throughout the years, but as our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, tells us in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 66), "Trials are proofs of God's care." This truth has been proved to me over and over again, as each difficulty overcome has brought spiritual growth and purification.
During World War II my husband was Commanding General of a large Air Force Wing in London, and he experienced protection many times from falling bombs.
