Soon after my marriage I received an invitation from a sister-in-law to attend a Christian Science church service with her. 1'he calm, peace, and harmony which came to me during that service I shall never forget. It was a turning point in my life. My study of Mary Baker Eddy's works helped me greatly through a coming childbirth. While the experience itself was not absolutely painless, I gained much in spiritual understanding.
When our daughter was six weeks old, she appeared to be passing on. Our fear was so great that we called a doctor and were informed that she could not live. Just at that moment my sister-in-law came to call and asked our permission to treat the little one in Christian Science. In five minutes the baby was sleeping peacefully. When she awoke, three hours later, she was completely healed.
