I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. W hen I first heard of this wonderful Science I was told it would meet every human need. At that time I was suffering from gallstones, and fear of eating certain foods was uppermost in my thinking. Then I was told that I could eat what was put before me without fear if I kept the First Commandment (Ex. 20:3), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." I had not realized before that I had been making a god of food. That day I knew when I finished studying the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly and ate food I had not eaten for a long time that I was healed. That was many years ago, and I have had no return of this trouble since.
We have had many healings, such as those of broken bones, whooping cough, and measles, but I am most grateful for the healing of a bad temper. I am also grateful to God for a better understanding of the Science of Life. Words cannot express my joy for the blessings Christian Science is bringing to mankind.—Collingswood, New Jersey.
