I am very grateful for Christian Science. Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church has given me a sense of stability and assurance.
I should like to express my gratitude for a healing of a hip injury. I realized that there are no accidents in Mind, that God's ideas are in their right places at all times, and that, as stated in the ninety-first Psalm, God gives "his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." At first, walking was difficult and painful; so I asked help of a Christian Science practitioner, who allayed my fear. About six hours later the hipbone slipped back into place, and at the end of three days the difficulty had entirely disappeared.
The practitioner advised me to study carefully the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly for the week, the subject of which was "Mind." I saw that I was holding some resentment, and when this was dealt with on the basis of its nothingness, because there is but one Mind, which knows only good, the healing came quickly.
