Dear Father, as I greet this day
I pray Thy guidance all the way.
Let Thy radiance round me shine
Till I lose my will in Thine.
Let me face each task with zest.
Glad again Thy power to test.
When the plea for love is more,
Turn me to Thy bounteous store.
There is every right need filled,
Weary wants of earth are stilled.
When at night I come to Thee,
I Thy joyous child shall be.
