About thirty-seven years ago my mother sent me to a Christian Science practitioner for treatment after doctors had failed to help me. I had always been a delicate girl, and at that time I was told that I had pleurisy and that I lacked vitality; also that I must rest and take medicine to build up my strength. In three weeks from the time work in Christian Science was taken up for me my healing was complete, and it was noticeable to others by a great change in my physical appearance.
From then on through the years I have depended entirely on my understanding of Christian Science and the help of practitioners to solve all of my problems. I attended the Christian Science Sunday School and joined The Mother Church and a branch church. I have proved that I did not lack vitality, as my business life has required long hours of endurance, travel, and executive responsibility.
I am grateful for class instruction in Christian Science and for the privilege of serving in the various church activities. How thankful I am to God that Mrs. Eddy made it possible for us to understand the truth which Jesus taught to his disciples.— Virginia, Minnesota.
