It is about thirty years since Christian Science came into my life. When my eldest daughter, then a little child, was very ill I consulted a doctor. He said that the child was suffering from pleurisy and inflammation of the lungs and that he would come back the next day.
Since the child continued to suffer, I decided to call a Christian Science practitioner. As soon as the practitioner did prayerful work my daughter went to sleep, and she awoke the next morning healthy and happy. There was no return of the pleurisy.
When the doctor returned he said, "A wonderful thing has happened here." This he said three times. I was so overwhelmed with thankfulness to God that I could not answer. From that time on I studied and practiced Christian Science, which has brought me many blessings.
