There Is One Mind

From the August 1955 issue of The Christian Science Journal

One is the Mind which regulates the cosmos,
Which holds the galaxies upon their way,
Which, in exquisite form immaculate,
Unfolds the tiny blossom at my feet.
There is no other mind, perverse and peevish.
To stultify the flower or dim the star.
This Mind is Truth that sets the worlds in motion
And keeps them so in calm continuance:
That guards the bird on upward flight ascending,
And keeps it safe in God's embracing care.
This Mind is Love, reaching with touch of healing,
To rectify, resuscitate, restore;
Revealing now to you your pure perfection.
One is your Mind, intelligence expressed.
As Principle it shines within your counsels
With luminous enlightenment of Love.
So cometh health to men and to the nations.
So reigneth peace triumphant through the earth.
