Members from many parts of the world were present at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church which convened on Monday afternoon, June 3. Much interest was expressed in the reports of progress, and a deep sense of gratitude was evidenced for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, because of her great contribution to the peace and prosperity of the world and to the salvation of mankind. A detailed account of the proceedings, as well as the reports of our Church officers, follows.
The opening hymn, No. 30 in the Christian Science Hymnal, was "Love," the words of which were written by our Leader. After the singing of this hymn, the retiring President, , read passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy:
