One day a friend brought me a copy of The Herald of Christian Science (French Edition), which I refused to accept. Six months later I asked her if I might now borrow the periodical. I read it with interest and asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner.
My first healing was that of constipation, from which I had suffered for twenty years. I was healed after one treatment. When I returned home that evening I threw away all my medicines and have never since used any material remedies.
