I have always wanted to express my gratitude to God for guiding me to Christian Science and to the kind friends who took me to church for the first time.
As a small child, and until the age of eleven or twelve, I attended an orthodox Sunday School. I loved attending, having memorized the Commandments, the Beatitudes, the Lord's Prayer, and all the books of the Bible. I would ask questions of my teachers such as this: "If God is good, why are people sick and crippled?"
They would answer, "That is something we shall all know some day."
