With a deep sense of gratitude and a desire to help others, I should like to share the healing of abscessed teeth, which took place through my study of Science and Health and the other writings of our Leader.
When a sense of pain and soreness presented itself and I was able to eat only soft foods, I asked myself, "Am I, or am I not, a Christian Scientist?" This was the answer: "Now is the opportunity to prove that I am truly a Christian Scientist."
Aggressive mental suggestion very strongly argued that this was definitely material, that mental treatment could not correct it. However, I turned the case over to God, divine Mind, and my answer from Mind was this: You are a Christian Scientist, and this problem can be conquered through the application of the truth. You do not have to have physical treatment, nor do you need to fear that you can lose any element or aspect of your completeness.
