The births of our two children through the help of Christian Science were harmonious and happy experiences. Both times we were able to find doctors who would deliver the babies at home.
Timing and protection were both beautifully met in the birth of our daughter. Each day I studied the references given to me by the practitioner. Some were from the Bible and some were from Science and Health and other prose works by Mrs. Eddy. The chapter entitled "The New Birth," found in her "Miscellaneous Writings," was also helpful.
At the time of the birth I held firmly to the thought that I lived in Spirit, not in matter. The doctor later remarked that it had been a quick and wonderful birth and said that if all his baby cases were like mine, he would never have any problems.
