From the March 1963 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Following the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in June, announcement is made as to the members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship assigned to Great Britain, Ireland, and Continental Europe for the coming lecture year. Branch churches and societies in these countries should send their applications for lectures through their clerks as soon as possible after the announcement so that they may be received by the lecturers not later than July 1.

In appointing lecture committees, executive boards of branch churches may wish to consider that the committee members should be able to communicate with each other during July and August.

It is not practicable for members of the Board of Lectureship to arrange lecture schedules until all applications have been received. Therefore your cooperation in sending applications early will be appreciated and helpful. Should an extra call for a lecturer be necessary to meet a need in a locality, the application would, of course, be handled as expeditiously as possible.
