FINDING MAN IN MIND

From the May 1963 issue of The Christian Science Journal

CHRIST JESUS gave to the world the full proof that life is not destructible, that human life continues after death until the individual proves his existence in Mind as its immortal, spiritual idea. The Master made this plain by raising the dead and by his own resurrection and ascension.

Christian Science explains the Master's great lessons. Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 555): "Our great example, Jesus, could restore the individualized manifestation of existence, which seemed to vanish in death. Knowing that God was the Life of man, Jesus was able to present himself unchanged after the crucifixion."

However disconsolate one may be tempted to feel because of the death of someone he loves, he should never forget that life cannot be destroyed and that each one must progress until he demonstrates God as his Life and the continuity of his existence as Life's expression.
