In 1957 I had a healing which was so complete that I should like to tell of it in the hope of thereby helping others.

I was suffering from a severe nervous breakdown. Although this healing required the help of several practitioners, one after the other, it was evident to me that each contributed substantially by his work, through prayer, to the final result. My gratitude to each one is great.

In addition to doing silent work in my behalf, each practitioner encouraged me to take my own stand against aggressive mental suggestion. When, in addition to the mental condition, some physical disturbances occurred on my body, one practitioner quoted these two lines from one of the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 221):
