In my early twenties I found that I could no longer accept the doctrine of the orthodox church in which I had been reared.
One day I felt compelled to tell my husband about my difficulty, and we decided to pray for guidance. Soon he was led to mention my problem to his secretary, who told him that she was a student of Christian Science. We borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I found therein satisfying answers to all my questions. We left the orthodox church, and I became a member of The Mother Church and of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.
When our child was expected we asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. A weak condition was completely overcome, and the birth was very harmonious.
