Poems

Forever Available

From the July 1964 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I like to think of God as Principle,
Divine foundation upon which to raise
The structure of my life, invincible.
From boundless base to heights I lift my gaze.
I see the truth, eternal verities
Which dissipate the false beliefs of sense,
Bring freedom from all griefs and miseries,
In presence of divine omnipotence.

Our God, immortal Principle, is here
And at all times available to all,
And those who know this truth reflect, revere,
Express God's love, obedient to His call.
With Principle the problems of mankind
Are solved in harmony with perfect Mind.
