"Divine Science rolls back the clouds of error with the light of Truth, and lifts the curtain on man as never born and as never dying, but as coexistent with his creator" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 557). Gratitude, as well as joy, is ever with me for Mrs. Eddy's revelation of this light of Truth and for her discovery of man's perpetual harmony with his creator.
As stated to me by my mother and by an aunt who was with my mother at my birth, I was born with a large swelling that extended from ear to ear. It was not diagnosed, but it looked like a goiter. My mother and aunt were new students in Christian Science, but they decided to obtain the help of a practitioner. Prayerful work was done. In a few months the growth was gone, and during this time I was a happy infant.
My own children were born by natural birth, quickly and harmoniously, in a nursing home for Christian Scientists. The blessings of rearing children in Science are many. From an understanding of this Science of being emanate a happy home and happy relationships.
