All the joy and happiness that is expressed...

From the May 1967 issue of The Christian Science Journal

All the joy and happiness that is expressed in my life today I owe to Christian Science, and I am very grateful.

When I was nine months old, it became apparent that my eyes were crossed. Glasses were put on me, and later on I wore a patch over one eye part of each day. During the ensuing years many sties appeared also, and I was under the constant care of an ophthalmologist.

When I was six years old, both my mother and father began the earnest study of Christian Science. All eye exercises were discontinued. My eyes remained crossed. However, I no longer had any sties.
