In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "The eternal Elohim includes the forever universe." Science and Health, p. 515; Christian Science reveals that in God's spiritual universe the only seeing is God's perception. God, Soul, sees. Seeing is an activity of Soul. This operation of Deity, who lovingly embraces His whole creation, is explained in the spiritually scientific record of creation. We read, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:31;
What does God see? His ideas, the expression or reflection of His own perfection, harmony, and glory. Soul, God, holds all being in the focus of infinity. In Soul's field of vision there are no false perspectives, no distorted or blurred images. Here is revealed the infinitely good creation of Love, which is ever unfolding in harmony with Principle.
Soul possesses infinite capacities, unlimited faculties of perception, inexhaustible power of sight. And as God's reflection, man possesses these qualities in unlimited measure. We demonstrate this eternal clear-sightedness of Soul through the spiritual understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him.
