It is with much gratitude that I write this testimony, hoping it will give courage and confidence to those who, as I, have had to pass through the Red Sea while the enemy pursued threateningly.
The Second World War destroyed all our possessions, and Christian Science found me in a desert land, a wilderness full of tears and desolation. But God surrounded me with care and kept me "as the apple of his eye" (Deut. 32:10) and guided me in His strength unto His holy habitation (see Ex.15:13).
Many were the difficulties I had to overcome in taking up work again and in reestablishing my family's equilibrium, but God was my only guide and help.
