A First Reader was approached by a visitor in the parking lot of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, after the service. "Are you in the practice?" the visitor inquired. When he answered No, the visitor asked, "Why not?"
This started him thinking. His father and his mother-in-law were both in the public practice of Christian Science, and from close observation he believed that full-time healing work just wasn't for him.
"I had spent a number of years in the newspaper business, public relations, and advertising. I was very happy in my chosen occupation and doing very well in it,"' he said.
