An Hour of Discovery

From the October 1972 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In this age of burgeoning discovery, mankind has been excited by the novelty of human footprints on a globe far distant from Earth. In the scale of discovery in the physical world, moon journeys have been among the most important events.

Yet metaphysical discoveries supersede physical ones, though they don't attract as much publicity. Mary Baker Eddy's discovery of the totally spiritual nature of man and the universe is a discovery of first importance to humanity.

The Christian Science Sunday School is concerned with this discovery. Its work is to explore what is spiritually real. An hour of discovery would be an apt description of an ideal Sunday School session.
