My grandmother first presented Christian Science to my family, and over the years I have witnessed and experienced many physical healings. However, I would like to relate here something of quite a different nature.
After having been away from teaching for a few years, I decided to go back as a substitute teacher. One morning a request was received to take a group of young teen-age boys. My agreement with the school district did not include working with older children, as my training and experience did not extend beyond elementary school.
The indication was that this group would probably be very difficult, including a large percentage of boys considered discipline problems. Realizing that the substitute office must be having difficulty finding someone to take the class, I finally agreed to do it.
