"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget...

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:2,3).

My first healing came through reading the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The healing was that of angina pectoris, diagnosed by several medical doctors. The last doctor gave me only a short time to live, saying I should not exert myself, or even talk much. The complete healing came almost forty years ago, and I have led a very active life ever since.

Words cannot express my gratitude for a very harmonious childbirth and for a healing of our daughter when she was six months old. She had a spasm, and there seemed to be no life. As I held her in my arms, I worked with the Lord's Prayer, repeating with understanding and expectancy these lines including the spiritual interpretation on page 17 of the textbook:
