From the October 1973 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I am grateful for the progress of the building of the new Christian Science Center in Boston. It is my desire that Christian Science be the foundation of my life even as God is its Principle, and that my consciousness be built on the rock of Christ, Truth.

In The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, in a letter Mary Baker Eddy wrote to Second Church of Christ, Scientist, New York City, there is this appropriate statement for this building program today (p. 202): "May the benediction of 'Well done, good and faithful,' rest worthily on the builders of this beautiful temple, and the glory of the resurrection morn burst upon the spiritual sense of this people with renewed vision, infinite meanings, endless hopes, and glad victories in the onward and upward chain of being."

Twelve years ago, at the time the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church was being held in Boston, my daughter was healed of a serious ear infection and loss of hearing. I was mindful of the meeting and of the great good that goes out in the reports of healing.
