One of the most powerful healing forces is gratitude. It is not hard to see why. Gratitude, after all, is the acknowledgment of the presence of good ; and since good is another term for God, gratitude is the active recognition of God's presence and power. Surprisingly, we often fail to bring gratitude to bear on every problem that requires healing.
It is the limited and inverted mortal sense of things that would seem to prevent us from doing so. This mortal sense suggests that gratitude is the result of good rather than a spiritually causative factor in bringing good into our experience. It is as though it says, "When good comes, then I'll be grateful." Thereby, of course, the very thing is withheld that is most needed if good is to be seen as ever present.
Spiritually enlightened sense, recognizing that all causation is Mind, or God, says: "I am grateful that God, good, is All, and is all-presence, and I rejoice in this pure knowledge. I am grateful that all that is going on is perfection, peace, power, harmony, joy, beauty, glory, dominion, and freedom."
