Since I first began the study of Christian Science seven years ago, I have become increasingly aware of what a precious gift it is.
Two years ago I collapsed into unconsciousness and momentarily ceased breathing. Christian Science friends prayed diligently to revive me, using powerful statements of man's spiritual and perfect selfhood from the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
When I regained consciousness, I noticed that in falling I had split my chin open. A Christian Science practitioner and I worked prayerfully with the idea of God's indestructible love for His children. Later that day the flesh in the chin closed up perfectly.
