Learning Together from the Christ

From the April 1975 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Christian Science Sunday School should stimulate spiritual growth for all concerned. This is to say that both student and teacher are involved in learning to depend on God.

If the teacher looks at himself as personally responsible for the success or failure of the class, difficulties arise. To correct this outlook, there needs to be a clearer discernment on the part of the teacher that the teaching ability originates in Mind, God. Divine Mind is the source of all true knowledge and communication. This Mind is ever present, constantly unfolding its eternal ideas to each of its beloved children.

Since the teacher, in his true identity, is the spiritual child of God, and ever at one with infinite Mind, he must naturally possess unlimited knowledge and intelligence. Mind, being constantly active, is ever providing the inspiration and freedom of expression the teacher requires.
